Doubt it all you want...the Revolution IS coming
and maybe it won't be the bloody french revolution scenario, or the 'wild in the streets' scenario, maybe it won't be violent at all, but one way or the other, like it always does, in every society, every nation, throughout history, revolution is coming.

nothing, not even america, lasts forever.

9. America is an illusion, perpetuated with credit cards.
It is a load of cattle diarrhea, this notion of working hard and you'll prosper.

Most of us work hard and WANT to work.

But jobs aren't there, good ones go out the door - as do people with the higher salaries; the best and brightest overlooked in favor of dim ones because it's cheaper or there's an agenda... people tearing each other down and not working together...

It's all about the money. It is NEVER about the community. (which is how walmart can go around telling people in commercials how great they supposedly are for the community and how we can all be proud to have work, and so on. Yeah, right... too many DU articles showing walmart as the fascist cesspool it is proves they're phony.)

Laws get changed more and more to urinate on the worker while giving unfair advantages to the corporations; who continue to increase their boastfulness about how great things are. (especially the credit card companies who sucker folks in young... and those who drool with copyright laws, the most disgusting laws ever devised and expanded on...)

Meanwhile corporations that hype up the evils of piracy freely piss on American workers by giving out our jobs to the countries that pirate the most. I'm lost on this one...

I sure as hell wouldn't create anything today. I couldn't begin to defend it on my own; a "submission corporation" would take 99.8% of the profits and then charge lots of entry and other fees (so I'd owe them money)... if Microsoft can get away with it, anybody can.

I could go on, but this is getting depressing.

There's a grand dichotomy at work.

Our society is perverse; putting money over people. This is no culture of life. It's a culture of greenbacks.

but who knows, maybe we've achieved this level of so called greatness before, only to have an errant asteroid erase it all.

Look up in the sky;
It's a Byrd;
It's a plain;
No...It's number three;
Able to be in 67590876541234 places at the same time, More Powerful than Brown and Root, faster than a one way trip to gitmo, Able to leap Bushco oil derricks in a single bound!
And Who, disguised as Bin Laden, a wild mannered cave man still at large on this dirty planet, fights a never ending battle for, whatever!

He might be a Fig-newton of Shrub's Homogenation!

Break out the Holy Craptonite, there's just been another sighting...woops false alarm!

6. The revolution will be no re-run brothers; The revolution will be live
The revolution will no be televised
by Gill Scott Heron

You will not be able to stay home, brother.
You will not be able to plug in, turn on and cop out.
You will not be able to lose yourself on skag and skip,
Skip out for beer during commercials,
Because the revolution will not be televised.

The revolution will not be televised.
The revolution will not be brought to you by Xerox
In 4 parts without commercial interruptions.
The revolution will not show you pictures of Nixon
blowing a bugle and leading a charge by John
Mitchell, General Abrams and Spiro Agnew to eat
hog maws confiscated from a Harlem sanctuary.

The revolution will not be televised.
The revolution will not be brought to you by the
Schaefer Award Theatre and will not star Natalie
Woods and Steve McQueen or Bullwinkle and Julia.
The revolution will not give your mouth sex appeal.
The revolution will not get rid of the nubs.
The revolution will not make you look five pounds
thinner, because the revolution will not be televised, Brother.

There will be no pictures of you and Willie May
pushing that shopping cart down the block on the dead run,
or trying to slide that color television into a stolen ambulance.
NBC will not be able predict the winner at 8:32
or report from 29 districts.
The revolution will not be televised.

There will be no pictures of pigs shooting down
brothers in the instant replay.
There will be no pictures of pigs shooting down
brothers in the instant replay.
There will be no pictures of Whitney Young being
run out of Harlem on a rail with a brand new process.
There will be no slow motion or still life of Roy
Wilkens strolling through Watts in a Red, Black and
Green liberation jumpsuit that he had been saving
For just the proper occasion.

Green Acres, The Beverly Hillbillies, and Hooterville
Junction will no longer be so damned relevant, and
women will not care if Dick finally gets down with
Jane on Search for Tomorrow because Black people
will be in the street looking for a brighter day.
The revolution will not be televised.

There will be no highlights on the eleven o'clock
news and no pictures of hairy armed women
liberationists and Jackie Onassis blowing her nose.
The theme song will not be written by Jim Webb,
Francis Scott Key, nor sung by Glen Campbell, Tom
Jones, Johnny Cash, Englebert Humperdink, or the Rare Earth.
The revolution will not be televised.

The revolution will not be right back
after a message about a white tornado, white lightning, or white people.
You will not have to worry about a dove in your
bedroom, a tiger in your tank, or the giant in your toilet bowl.
The revolution will not go better with Coke.
The revolution will not fight the germs that may cause bad breath.
The revolution will put you in the driver's seat.

The revolution will not be televised, will not be televised,
will not be televised, will not be televised.
The revolution will be no re-run brothers;
The revolution will be live.

5. I think it will be spontaneous.
The American people will reach the breaking point. It will be one an incident, not much more outrageous that what has come before, but the population with "get it" and force bush out.

12. I hope so
I don't have too much hope personally. Always there's something outrages that comes out with them and I think "maybe this will wake people up" and it doesn't. He's still there and we're still at the same point we are. I don't think anything will ever happen to Bush. After all look at his father.

16. Remember how quick Nixon went down when the public got a clue.
Same with the Vietnam war. Support ended seemingly overnight. It could be that the illusion of support ended overnight.

11. It happened in 1980. There has been no reprieve, though I will admit
there WAS a slowdown during the 1990s. (bad things aside, the FMLA was a good thing. I'm surprised the repukes allowed it to go through at the time.)

13. wouldn't it be cool if ...
the revolution actually is televised ...

it would be oh-so-comfortable if i could just sit here in my comfy chair and watch the scroll going by on MSNBC about "the New America" ... and then i could just push a little button and hear Paula Zahn on CNN explaining what the revolution is really all about ... she really gets to the bottom of these things ...

you want to put your top people on the case when you're dealing with big stuff like revolution ...

15. Revolution Calling

Artist: Queensryche
Operation Mindcrime

Revolution Calling

For a price I'd do about anything
Except pull the trigger
For that I'd need a pretty good cause
Then I heard of Dr. X
The man with the cure
Just watch the television
Yeah, you'll see there's something going on

Got no love for politicians
Or that crazy scene in D.C.
It's just a power mad town
But the time is ripe for changes
There's a growing feeling
That taking a chance on a new kind of vision is due

I used to trust the media
To tell me the truth, tell us the truth
But now I've seen the payoffs
Everywhere I look
Who do you trust when everyone's a crook?

Revolution calling
Revolution calling
Revolution calling you
Revolution calling
Revolution calling
Gotta make a change
Gotta push, gotta push it on through

17. It's here already, you are just not looking at it properly
I always do myself the favor in that I ignore everything they are trying to feed me. I look out at what there is, what is happening and how it's going. The establishment with it's pillars of control is actually getting it's ass kicked in, more in other places to be sure but everywhere none the less. Control of others is always tenuous

If you listen to what they say instead of figuring it out yourself you won't see it. The mind screwing they have been trying to do for years has made it that way.

DU MKULTRA thread-let's talk about mind control, factually now.
