I was toolin' down the highway in Colorado coming back from Idaho Springs to Denver and all of a sudden this huge tire is bouncing down the road in my lane..coming straight at my windshield. I didn't have time to think..I was just damn lucky it veered off to my right and started rolling in the grassy part.

Up the road a piece I saw some people changing a tire on the other side of the road and looking to see where a runaway tire went.

I was shaking hard thinking about how close it was..and thanking my lucky stars.

I don't know why anyone would brag about throwing rocks at oncoming cars knowing that someone could get hurt or killed, even if these are kids doing this. These types of pranks goes on all over the US, especially throwing bricks from overpasses into cars on freeways below.

Whatever happened to mooning? At least that never got anyone killed.

stupid enough to brag about it a party or something. They'll get caught. Most likely, it didn't dawn on their teenage brains that someone could get killed so they probably bragged about their "pranks".

Since this is happening at night, I doubt they know who is in the other car. They just want to kill somebody for the kicks.
