Would failing a drug test get you out of being drafted?
Does the Military drug test you before you enter the service? I can't remember if they did when I signed up like a dummy in 86. Smoking some weed all day long before you go down for the physical might not be a bad thing to keep you from getting drafted.

1. It would keep you from voluntarily enlisting, but probably would not
keep you from being conscripted.

3. I remember an episode of a weekly series called Titus
dealt with this subject. His brother signed up to join the army, then after realizing what a mistake he made, he smoked some happy smoke and was rejected. My son is 17, and I will be happy to do what ever it takes! My Dr. said his Son will be turning Gay if there is a draft. Do they reject you if your Gay?

I would think the wacky weed would be an easier out than the gay option.

5. Now that is funny!
I would think the policy would be to arrest draftees who pop positive and/or those that present signs of anal entry. Oh, wait...sodomy is not against the law as of late. Let's see, get the right judges on the court and that will surely be taken care of. Right in the nick of time too.

10. I didn't mean an anal cavity check. I meant like Clinger trying to get out
of Nam because he was dressing like a women.

8. LOL male showing up in a female business dress and
testing positive for pot... I think that would cover all bases.

And if I had a son, that's what he would do seriously....

9. I don't know about that
But if you are taking psychiatric drugs, or particularly if you took them as a child you likely will not be accepted. I have read that the military will not accept as soldiers individuals who used psychotropic medications as a child. I'm not sure if the same applies to those who used them as an adult and later signed up for military service or got drafted...
