2. My sub-poll: Will the "Repubicans" answer get any votes?

5. I voted for the "Republican" cannibalism option
The hardcore right doesn't like it when moderates dissent! As angry as some people on DU are about the filibuster compromise, the right-wing forums are twice as angry!

7. But the fact that DUers are mad about this seems so petty, I want to laugh
At it's worst, some Dems once again compromised and now the Fundies will gnaw at Frist's shriveled ambitions. Why do DUers have to paint this as the Biggest Dem Party Failure Since...well, who knows when.

6. The Pubbies will cannibalize themselves when things start to
go badly, which may have started tonight. Any one of them running for office in '06 must watch *'s poll numbers very closely and they're going into the pit. The compromise tonight makes Frist and * look like something less than omnipotent leaders who must be obeyed. The rest of them will be out to save their respective hides. Remember: Pubbies think of me, me and only me.
