I can't believe the democrats are bragging about more or less giving up the filibuster. And for what? Something as substantial as a handful of dust in the middle of a tornado.

spinning this as "Frist is TOAST!"... what because Chris Matthews just said that on MSNBC?... they are talking about something 4 years from now...

The republicans are getting what they want... we might as well lost the fillibuster. I'd rather lose fighting...

Frist's followers will still vote for him.

IMO, the people you just saw are hoping to become, at the least, the power brokers for the next presidential election, some of them may have aspirations to be our next candidate.
