I called Senator Sessions a liar on C-Span this morning, sigh....

Impulsively dialed C-Span after listening to Sessions tap dance around blaming all Senate problems on the Dems. Made up my mind that I was going to call him a liar. The phone screener did say that Sessions didn't have much time left would I talk to Senator Feingold. (Told her I was going to call Sessions a liar - she seems to think that was acceptable!)

Sessions left but before Feingold came on I was given my little bit of air time. I said I was sorry I couldn't talk to Sessions because I had learned a lesson from Galloway this week in the Coleman committee hearing. I am calling him a liar. That he has lied all morning and I wanted him to know the American people know he is lying. I watched the debates all day yesterday and all they could do is repeat the nominees CVs and would not address the real issue of ruining the Senate. Went on a bit more (evidently Feingold was slow getting on line!) before they finally cut me off.

Not particularly proud to have to call any human a liar but the niceties of "my good friend from blab, blab, the gentlewoman yadda, yadda, yadda" got to me yesterday. All this pseudo manners and then the repugs spreading nothing but misinformation and lies. Time to take a page from the British Parliament and get in their faces. I have never in my life called someone a liar but Norquist and the Gang of Thugs have no problem calling any and everyone names so let us up the ante. I am going to get a bit more practiced in calling the liars out - especially when talking to a repug. Time to call that kettle black.

I am quickly coming to the conclusion that the reason the Repubs have gotten as far as they have is because we've been too polite...

We said they were "in error" or "mistaken" when we should have called it was: LIES .

7. I do think what we outside of congress can say

is different from what those in conference can say. We should be calling these liars liars.

I understand why a Democratic Senator may not be feel the same liberty as private citizens - he is constrained by having to work with these guys.

12. Thank you. I could have talked the entire show if Connie would

just let me go. Wasn't as articulate as I would have liked. I got my main point of calling him a liar and letting them know I was inspired by Galloway. Hoping listeners will follow Galloway's example and blast their lies back into their faces. The talking points the thugs draw up each week and then have the repugs parrot over and over have been very effective. Galloway gave us an excellent role model on how to re-frame the debate back to the truth. We just need to hit back. And hit back hard. The repugs give us so much to work with and we have just been playing patty cake.

Frist - liar, Sessions - liar, Chimpy, Cheney, Rove, Rice, Rumsfeld, DeLay, Hatch, every damn repug who sides with this bunch - liars, liars, liars, liars, and more liars.

To quote a really stupid person - "You are either with us or you are with the enemy." In this case the enemy are the repugs who would destroy our government just as effectively as Al Queda if given a chance.

Seems like a lot of calls this morning were against the Repugnicans, and I was surprised to hear a lot of southern accents...pleasantly surprised.

Not sure if anyone else notice, good ole Connie showing her bias. She let some lady ramble...typical right wing tripe of her vote wasn't being counted, I'm the majority, I have the right to be heard, blah, blah...Connie just lets her ramble, then afterwards said "I'm glad you called".

I wanted to reach into the television and grab Kerry by the neck and scream, "Just say he is lying!"

Sometimes, the only way you can get something into the heasds of "The People" is to just use plain language that they understand.

Calling him a liar was the right thing to do.

We need more of that.
