4. They're both Siths.
We just give Bush** power by perpetuating the idea that he's stupid or clownish. He's not an idiot, he just plays one on TV.

Read Sun Tsu.

11. Raised by Sith's definitely.
Most of us have contact to the famous by the second to third degree. Know someone who knew him well in the 70's (about 2 years). He is not very bright but was raised to believe in the correctness of his families opinions. W is a good parrot of HIS family values, but has also been a huge embarrassment. Bush is/was a classic Narcissistic Personality Disorder which stems from deep feelings of inferiority and contrasting attempts to build up his self esteem. Now that he has been empowered into position he has developed into a real Megalomaniac a realized Narcissistic.

There really is not much out there details about his childhood and the 70's are very much a blank for good reason. (What I heard undocumented is enough to make you puke) Notice this about him today, he is not very close in touch with the chain of command.

1. On 9/11 we saw him reading My Pet Goat with a whisper and somewhat puzzled look. Contrast Cheney who was literally carried to shelter in his chair in midst of a supposed "Military" exercise. Bush was not that heavily covered by the "Secret Service" until some time later.

2. The recent overflight by the 1970's era Cessna. It took a full 1/2 hour to inform him on his Mountain Bike. Two possibilities here as a good Sith he planned it and was party to the planning hence lowered security concern or no one cared he might be in danger. (That plane could have carried a suitcase nuclear device and would have killed him 3 miles away)

3. Cheney really lives in a bunker. Remember Sith's come in pairs the master and apprentice.

Thanks for the response and line of thought this has been fun.

13. I understand your point, but it doesn't matter whether he really IS...
...stupid or not. The more we promote the idea that he is, the more power we grant him and his misadministration because he's the man in the seat.

Thanks for your thoughtful response.

15. True enough "power we grant him" is the key.
My understanding on a clinical basis (I deal with assessment)that "Narcissistic Personalities" do not like to be challenged and revert deeper into narcissistic behavior whenever challenged as to their self worth. On the other hand validating his self worth is equally dangerous and feeds his delusions of grandeur and also dependencies.

Professionally I should not make fun of him, but he truly is in a vicious cycle.

"At one point, Natalie Portman complains that "this war happened because of a failure to listen." But the war she's talking about was started by the good guys! "

He's certainly right. This war was NOT STARTED BY THE GOOD GUYS!

The guy is a freak. He goes right up against the wall when the revolution comes!

6. The story of Star Wars seems pretty consistent to me.
Evil Empire and the dark side against the force: If they feel this is anti-bush then perhaps they are on to something. But that something is probably their own cognitive dissonance on the subject. "The dark side looking into the mirror and not liking what they see." or something.

This is hilarious.

8. Damn they found Lucas Out!
Edited on Fri May-13-05 09:52 AM by SalmonChantedEvening
In 1955, he had a vision of the future, saw Bush in power, made 3 movies in the 70's/80's, but saved Episode 3 for 2005 when he knew Bush would be President, just to slam him. Good grief.

YOU ARE AN INSANE MAN JOHN PODHORETZ

The Star Wars story has been in Lucas' head unchanged since his Jr. High days.

Because the majority of the world is 'anti-Bush'...people have been lining up MONTHS to see it...look at Fahrenheit 911...

And John's paper, the New York Post, is anti-American, by the way...:patriot:

12. You're missing the point! All this hype about the Star Wars is actually
a way to save the Ohio employee pension fund.

See, the guy "misplaced" over a hundred rare coins, but secretly sold them to fund investing in Star Wars merchandise.

He's going to sit on the stuff and wait for the SW nerds to demand the most collectible figures.

Ohio's pension fund is saved!
