Thursday, May 12, 2005 - GLENDALE -- When a national magazine published a photograph of James Denton's home, the sexy plumber on ABC's "Desperate Housewives" became, well, desperate.
Denton -- the hunky Mike the plumber on TV's Wisteria Lane -- said he fears for the safety of his real-life family after Us Weekly ran a picture of the house. Fans of the steamy nighttime series have since come by to gawk, and the father of two says he's ready to move after living there less than two months.

Officials at Us Weekly had no comment on the flap, which has generated stories on "Extra," "Celebrity Justice" and on various Internet Web sites.
The actor and his wife already are searching for a new house and hope to move by the end of the month. Their current house is already in escrow... "He's moving as a preventative measure because the picture was published. He's not home a lot and he wants to move before anything happens."
