I'm in the process of creating a symbol for progressives

Something we can show for UNITY about progressive causes: Universal Healthcare, No War, Jobs in the USA, media reform . It will be something simple and clear just like the peace sign was immediately identified to others as a peace supporter. (nike swoosh is immediately recognised)

Would you put a symbol on your porch window or your car bumper? Let's make it happen.

Either a leaf that forms a letter "G" or a big red, white, and blue kicking donkey....

or both.

5. OK, I'll bite. The Donkey is self explanatory, but a leaf in the shape of

the letter G?

8. green environment. That's good. And the peace sign is traditional

But also, think about the orange ribbons in the Ukraine against the fraud. Or the yellow ribbons that ONCE was the domain of Peace and now seem to be worn by those neoCON Nationalists.

7. Why not continue using a classic?

The peace sign is universally known and, in my opinion, still represents all good things that progressives represent. You can multi-color it or add a phrase but that symbol is still "where its at".
