Inconsistencies With The Genade Story
We all know it is fake. Not one person, here, heard the story and said, "My word, our country is under attack!"

The whole story did not sit well with me from the start. I kept hearing the words 'a possible grenade'. Either it is a grenade or it isn;t. If you are not sure, perhaps a security position is not the job for you!

Then I started to hear inconsistencies over the last 24 hours. Things that were said such as:

http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=JPost/JPArticle/ShowFull&cid=1115777941502

<snip>

Guram Donadze, spokesman for the Georgian Interior Ministry, reached by telephone early Wednesday, at first said no hand grenade was thrown close to Bush. "This is an absolute lie. This did not occur," Donadze said.

<snip>

Then, of course, the folowing was said:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7781473/

<snip>

Georgia’s security chief said Wednesday that an inactive grenade was found near the site where President Bush made a speech in Tbilisi.

<snip>

It is denied one day and then confrimed the next! Does this strike you as weird?

I also found more things but I am going out soon and do not have time to look up everything. There are things where reports say that it was found by Georgia security alone and then others that say US security AND Georgia security both found it.

I have also found articles that state that security was tight and others that say they gave up searching people and let them in! You can find this in another post if you do a search of my name!

Right now my copy and paste gave out on me and I think I will have to restart my computer to get it back! UGH!

Let me ask you, does it seem in the least but reasonable that the Secret Service would not notice something like this? Their job is to see these things. Does it make sense that US security would not even tell * about the whole thing until they were on a plane? Anyone with any common sense could see that this whole things stinks like a fish left out in 100 degree weather for a week.

It concerns me that US online news organisations reported yesterday that there was no grenade and I can not find those links any more. Instead it talks all about the bomb and nothing about it being fake!

I just had to voice my concerns. Thanks for listening.

1. Oh this whole incident stinks to high heaven of Rove and his machinations
I first heard this on NPR last night, and they were carrying the disclaimer of Georgian official's denial. Also was suprised to hear about the denial at the end of the CNN piece about eight(CDT). But as I flipped from the Simpsons to the various news channels througout the evening, I noticed the story taking on a different shape, and that the denial and lie part were quietly dropped. Then this morning on NPR, I heard about the securtiy minister confirming a dropped grenade, etc.

Yeah, this is, as they say, an evolving story. Evolving right out of thin air into another patented Rovian diversionary tactic.

7. Yes, this is an obvious play for sympathy and an attempt
to kill the UK memo story even deader than the whore press has already done to it.

Now today we have some yuppie flying his plane within three miles of a building His Dumbinence wasn't even in at the time.

It's all being done to distract people from the truth about this gang: they're liars, thieves, and murderers, and the quicker people start to catch on, the better chance we'll have to survive them.

2. The media is playing the US audience like a fiddle,
and all the sheeple care about is the lastest episode of Survivor.

I'm disgusted with the whole shit pile called the United States of America. The least we could do is change the name of our country to reflect what we've become: the United Corporations of America.

3. I don't know if it is to cover for the Blair memo or the sissy dance.
But it is concocted for some reason.

5. Remember the story of Air Force One on the way to Iraq,
and the "I've got the balls" landing on the carrier?

It's all part of the larger-than-life Ÿbermensch mythology they've woven around this POS. Surprised he didn't catch the grenade in his hand, drop to his knees in prayer, and it fizzled out.

created to prop up the image of the fool that would be king.

they will never retract it, just make a wild claim loudly and then the whispers of truth that follow.

8. Of course they'd try and deny it
They just spent a lot of time and money trying to convince you that Bush is popular.

Not with everyone it would seem.

11. Everything about this story reeks of a fictionalized account ...
of something that never happened to begin with. The problem is that the MSM is doing NOTHING to sort it out. All those blow-dried talking heads on all those 24hr. a day "news" channels are just reading the latest version of a persistently inconsistent story. WTF?

Why doesn't one of these "news" channels send a real reporter to the scene and find out exactly what the f*ck happened? Isn't that what "news" reporters are supposed to be doing in the first place? When did reporting the "news" degenerate into reading the latest handout from some government functionary?

14. I would think, if there was any attempt of attack noticed by local law
enforcement, it will go straight to secret service, who would immediately take him off stage.
Considering someone else's post about us US taxpayers paying for the whole choreographed show, yes, it does stink.

but what is the real purpose....
