How long do you think this current crusade would last if George W. had to lead our troops into battle?

This is not to defend the Crusades of old. They were insane exercises in bigotry and hypocrisy, called for and backed by the Popes of the day. No, there wasn't any oil back then. But if you controlled the middle east, you controlled the trade routes to the far east.

Anyone who really believes that George W. is really trying to "bring democracy to the Arab world" is stupid enough to ... ummm ... vote for a Republican?
