Did anyone catch meachum on Imus?
What did he say that made imutt say, "I am liking * more everyday"? I know he mentioned how the Russians fought hitler, only after Operation Barbarossa" (as if we were fighting, prior to Pearl Harbor). But I did not catch the whole segment, and I know there was some Russian-bashing, such as the non-aggression pact, that let Germany attack Poland. Of course no mention of American businesses that allow the Germans to ramp up their war machine and death camps, including grampa chimp prescott.

1. How long

till they rewrite history as if the Russians started the war?

Anyone bashing Russia on this day is a fucking idiot on my list. Russia lost 23 million people officially (40 million unofficially) in that war. One of the few things left that russians can celebrate and be proud of is this date. Victory Day. May 9th.

On a side note - I was watching the parade this morning and it was beautiful. All the veterans with their medals... These people must be 80 or so years old. They were beautiful, happy and proud. Some of them were weeping.

3. They had an extended
conversation on how shallow Bush's grasp of history is. The focus was Yalta, and they were laughing about how the Mighty President blames FDR and Churchill for what occured in the USSR during the Cold War. The segment was hardly complimentary to Bush: when Imus asked why the president didn't expand on his comments last week, Meachum said because it would have shown how little he knew about the topic.

4. Thanks...
I am glad to hear that it was not a pro * segment. Did you hear imus say what I posted in the original post? Was he being sarcastic? I missed the comments that lead up to his statement.
