WTC or Pentagon ?? Which was more important to White House?
In their decision to go after Osama and eventually to invade Iraq? If the WTC had been the sole target, would the reaction from the WH have been different? But when the Pentagon was struck, it was such a blow to the strongest military in the world, there had to be a military response? There was such embarrassment in the military, even during the tragedy of the event, that the terrorists could hit the Pentagon. The Pentagon!

6.  and the side furthest from any top brass...

As Mr. Griffith puts it why did these master minds hit the part of the pentagon that was the least important?

If they were master minds wouldn't they know where to hit to cause the most damage?

3. Right. It was such a surprise to the Pentagon that the Army cancelled....
...the leaves of all high-ranking personnel assigned to that facility the DAY BEFORE the attacks on 911.

Do you STILL believe that 911 was a complete surprise to Herr Busch and his NeoCon minions?

Do a google on "Operation Northwoods" and then tell me what you think.

5. The most important target may have been
the one that was foiled--Congress.

7. I think WTC.....IMHO
Pentagon is a military installation, kinda expected to be a target.

But the WTC was totally civilian. For the WH, it's easier to gain support from the masses by showing the bloodthirsty gall of these monsters who would kill innocent Americans anywhere.

8. the pentagon is the most protected building on earth. Alqeda did not hit
it. It has sensors that would automatically shoot down anythng that was not a US military aircraft.
