Jeff Gannon Wrote 41 Articles for GOPUSA
Why does that matter? Because of things he has said to the press, like this to the Washington Post's Howard Kurtz:

"Gannon said he began covering the White House in February 2003, at least a month before Talon News was created. He said he was then working for GOPUSA. Talon was launched as "a marketing consideration to separate the news division from something that could be viewed as partisan," he said."

Or this to Editor & Publisher's Joe Strupp:

"He said he came across Talon News while researching and liked its approach. The Texas Republican activist who runs it also manages the site GOPUSA."

Why does it matter? Because Jimmy/Jeff wrote 17 articles for GOPUSA BEFORE February 25, 2003. Does that date ring a bell? It should. It's the earliest date Gannon/Guckert signed in for access to the White House, according to recently released Secret Service logs.

You can read the rest and see the articles at my NOT WORK SAFE but fairly harmless page:

1. Gannon
If he only wrote 41 articles for GOPUSA, and 17 predated his first showing at the WH, that means his 200 + WH visits only produced 24 articles. He must not be a very prolific writer.

2. Hmmm. Could it be that his 200 + visits were NOT all press related?
What a surprise. Prolific writer indeed. Pathetic writer is more like it...

4. I'm really not
I think he was there so he could leak things. How else could HE know about the whole "Shock & Awe" thing before any other reporters? Hmmm. His whole appearance on Maher was just ugh. I couldn't watch.

7. Gannon wasn't hired by the WH for his writing abilities
Gannon was hired for his sexual talents. There are a number of times that Gannon checked in for a early briefing at the WH and didn't leave until after dinner. Coincidently, on most of those days that Gannon stayed late, Bush was in the WH and was entertaining world leaders such as Tony Blair and many others.

3. So, these articles that he claims to have written, were they real
articles, or just reguritating the WH press releases and stealing articles written by others?

He is no writer, he is no journalist.

6. Blogslut, I have a question
... and you may be the ONE to know the answer.

Early in 'the story', some domain names were brought up to him, with porn-sounding names, but apparently no content. (This was before the nudie sites were found.)

He claimed that he had set them up while working as a web designer and had registered them for clients, but that they had never had content or gone live.

Some time later, he advertised these domain names for sale, with some high prices. As I recall, two were at $7,000 each and one at $14,000.

He ALSO claimed in the ad that they had monthly hits of something like 15,000, 15,000 and 40,000 (Huh? WITHOUT ANY CONTENT???!!!)

My question is: Did they sell? How much? If so, it just looks to me as though it was a way for "someone" to "legitimately" get some dough to him.

P.S. Thanks for refering to me as a little slut, I do appreciate it.
