You know bush is an insane lying lunatic of a moran when...
when he calls the US treasury bonds for SS;

"worthless IOUs"

http://www.socsec.org/publications.asp?pubid=507

when he (last night) says of the same US treasury bonds;

"I know some Americans have reservations about investing in the stock market, so I propose that one investment option consist entirely of Treasury bonds, which are backed by the full faith and credit of the United States government."

2. When he opens his mouth at all.
Let's just forget it and strongarm the government, impeach these criminal sociopaths once and for all.

3. ...his lips are moving.
I was finishing the sentence in your post, but I agree completely with what you've pointed out.

The speech was little more than an informercial as far as I saw it.

5. Bush's suggestion that "Congress has made promises it can't keep"
means, in translation, "my tax cuts have threatened the ability of the United States to meet its obligations under the full faith and credit of the United States."

That's the real crisis. Bush is suggesting that the United States will have to default on it obligations if we don't privitize social security.

12. CONGRESS??? His repukes have OWNED congress for 8 years.
Isn't that like blaming the garage for your seized car's engine when YOU ran it with no oil or antifreeze?

8. And didn't he go on to say the excess money taken in for social security
is spent on other "government programs?" Yeah, like the Lawrence Welk museum or maybe a study on the sex life of blue crabs. Would it be so bad to invest that extra money in . . . well, how about . . . a PRIVATE account so it would add to the so-called trust fund? The sorry truth is, any "excess" funds are thrown in the "tax breaks for rich people" kitty.

9. I'm telling you. If brush even pushes back my retirement age, again,
I'm going to be living on his doorstep. There are millions of middle-class, hard-working, middle aged people like me who have seen their SS money dwindle and dwindle. I've had enough of it and I'm going to scream at every Senator and Representative out there. I've had enough and I'm not going to take it anymore!!!!!

10. Does anyone else worry that China might see this as our country
can't pay our debts, and then call them up? That's the first thing that went through my mind when he said. :scared:

11. That's about the time I turned off the TV ...
What a depressing exercises that was. Bu$h is a miserable failure and it now seems that about 80% of the people realize that (including the media-whores). So why the charade? The electorate and press should be screaming for his ouster. He truly deserves to be disgraced, cashiered, and convicted. Freeping fascist.
