65. When he talks about education
He seems to stop at the requirements for a third or fourth grader. We need higher education for our citizens that would put them on a level with the people who get free educations in India and China.

Bush talks of no child left behind.
Kerry spoke of no adult left behind. Why stop in childhood?

71. Yeah. And we still have that shadow government. Why do we need
them. We even have a "shadow" supreme court. Can you believe this crap.

The day before yesterday when they had the "ghost" blip on radar, they showed where Bush was rushed to in a sketch. It showed where his bunker was and under what part of the White House.

They then stated that VP Cheney was taken to his private security area. No visuals with that one though.

Regarding that "ghost" blip on radar, today I was listening to the guy filling in for Limbaugh. He said Limbaugh was getting his ears tweaked (yeah right, the news all evening stated Limbaugh lost his case regarding his privacy with his medical records today). Odd those two things going on, on the same day and all.

Anyway, this Sullivan guy that was filling in for Limbaugh said he was there with the media. He stated the Secret Service was telling everyone to run ASAP before they even knew what it was. Which probably is the best thing to do. However, he said that not one of the Secret Service or any of the other security at the White House was even looking up. They were running in every direction looking, but never looked up. He said he felt that there was something else going on. Now this guy is a Republicant. He even stated he didn't fall into this "Conspiracy Theory" stuff, but he definitely knew they were not concerned about anything coming from the sky.

Anyway, thought I would share. I thought it was kind of interesting.

70. Bush also contradicted himself
He said the social security surplus (treasury bonds) were mere IOU's . He then said you would be allowed to invest in treasury bonds if you opted for privatization.

Jaysus, what a stupid fucking idiot.

72. Did anyone else catch the response to a question about Putin?
His eyes were briefly cast down, apearing to be thinking, and then he says,"Wait! Wait!" in response to what could only be his earpiece.

He displayed his piggishness when he called on a reporter by pointing and calling him "Stretch", an obvious reference to the reporters height.

83. I heard that. I was watching MSNBC, but this is from the Fox transcripts
"Listen, thank you all for your interest. God bless our country."

Isn't it nice of them to cover for him? LOL!

90. He's got a habit of calling reporters "Stretch."
I noticed he'd toned it down a bit tonight, actually. Rove probably got on him about that.

But the major-league asshole in him slips out every now and again, despite his keepers best efforts.

92. I cringed when he did that. I would not have taken it had I been "Stretch"
"Stretch" though was gracious and said something along the lines of "I've been called worse".... It was a very sad moment.

82. FOUND IT! -----
QUESTION: I wanted to ask you about your ideas on dealing with Social Security solvency problems.

As I understand it -- and I know you'll tell me if I'm wrong -- benefits would be equal to what -- at least equal to what they are today, and then any increase in benefits would be indexed according to income, with lower-income people getting bigger increases.

Two things on that. Today's benefits probably won't mean much somewhere down the road. And how far are you going to go with this means-based program? Are you talking about...

BUSH: Yes, I appreciate that.

QUESTION: ... a system where a rich person, say Dick Cheney, wouldn't get much out of it?

BUSH: Now wait a minute, don't get personal here, that's international TV. That's a cheap shot....

93. When are we ever going to get rid of him on the simple grounds of
incompetency and insanity? Come on you fundamentalists out there, please, wake up, smell the coffee, take off your damned rose colored glasses. Please we need you.

Jesus please this really didn't happen. It was just a bad dream. I look forward to these events, but last night was it for me. I can't ever watch again. It is not good for my well being.

86. Once, when he was trying to explain something,
he stopped for a second and then said something like, "...if anybody's listening" or "for those who are listening".

Did anyone else hear that one?
