I bet Bush is really going to goof up tonight.
You know why? Because he always does. Whether it's proposing $87 Billion bailouts or psychedelic ties or whatever, he has a long history of screwing up. The major difference between now and the past is that he doesn't have a campaign pumping out happy news about how great he is (no commercials). I think Bush's current "popularity" (43%) is unsustainable. Let's watch and see.

17. From what I understand he is supposed to engage in a little name calling
What news has been reporting all day is that he will be calling the Dems obstructionists and just generally raking them over the coals. Talking about his precious fundie judges and social security. Hopefully the networks will just give a big yawn and continue with scheduled programming.

11. No worries...
Unless you have an HD feed I guess. From CBS programming:

We will not be airing the President's speech tonight on the regular Network feed. All programming will air as normal. We will be airing it on our HD feed, CBS Radio, CBS News.Com (streaming) & on Newspath for excerpts. The President's speech will air on the HD feed at approx 7:30pm cst and is expected to last one hour. We will join in progress CSI at 8:30 pm. The President is supposed to speak for 12 minutes on Social Security and then followed by a Q & A segment.

21. My brother-in-law will not be happy
He watches the HD feed of CSI. What's particularly funny is that he's a Republican and has no love of Bush. He's really going to enjoy this.

12. Are sex slaves on Bush's agenda tonight? Steroids?
I heard he was appointing a task force with Neil Bush in charge to investigate sex slavery.

20. Yea right. Very well scripted questions, without follow-ups....
Much like his FAKE town hall meetings, and a few powder-puff questions lobbed by his new planted boyfriend (fake reporter).

Then again, Gannon could really get to drilling Turd Blossom, causing Turd Blossom to crank up the juice on Shrub's remote, as Shrub falls to the floor and starts vibrating as he is chanting, 'wait, le-me finish' to no question.

Official report: 'Holy Shrub was choking on a pretzel again. No follow-up questions allowed, by order of Propaganda Minister Turd Blossom. The Propaganda Minister also orders all MSM outlets to immediately release polls showing Shrub's skyrocketing support, as the images of Jesus Christ and Shrub are merged together to form one.'

Filled for the most part with the usual lapdogs, * still sees the as the evil emanemanee that will trip him up. This won't be his all GOP audience, pre-screened and loaded with adoring marks, unless they bar foreign reporters. ;)

One wrong question starts that ball-of-jello to wiggle in to incoherence. I'll listen along on AAR, I just can't look at him or hear him talk. I've never had such a visceral reaction to any President in my 46 years.
