Maybe we should treat Conservatives the same way they treat GLBT people

Maybe we should treat them as though they are sick.

Maybe we should set up groups opposing advances for rights for Conservative people.

Maybe we should have people who say they were former Conservatives but are now healthy through treatment that they received.

Would they like that? I don't think so.

1. "Christians" don't really need healthcare

They're automatically going to heaven when they die, right?

Why not save the healthcare for us poor slobs who will be tortured eternally in the fires of hell? Isn't it the Christian thing to do, to show a little mercy before we have to spend our spiritual existence until the end of time in horrifying pain?

2. Interesting argument, but if the comparison is to work.

By equating homosexuality et al with conservatiism, you are tacitly implying that homosexuality is nothing more than a life choice, and a bad one at that.
