Biden asked on C-SPAN if he is thinking of running for President....
They are re-running some coverage of Senator Biden at some event, and he's hand shaking and saying hi to a bunch of people. Some older guy, asks him in his ear, "you gonna run for President?", and Biden responds, "maybe" and gives him a wink....

Don't know about the what to think of the Biden 08 possibility?

2. Yup. He was found to be a plagiarist
and that was the end of that.

Now he's a plagiarist with hair plugs. He thinks he'll do better?

11. It may be old, old news, but
the repukes will make it seem like yesterday when they pull the story out to use it against him if he does run for prez. They will destroy with it. It's what they do best.

14. Yes, exactly.
Find the one minor flaw in whatever Democratic candidate we put up there, and BASH BASH BASH while their accomplices in the so-called "liberal" media broadcast feature after feature analyzing plagiarism and how evil it is.

3. He's speaking at the "Jefferson/Jackson" (?) dinner this weekend
Edited on Fri Apr-22-05 09:17 PM by in_cog_ni_to
and it will be aired on C-SPAN'S "Road to the White House" which gave me "pause" this morning when I heard it. Biden IS NOT who we need to run. He's waaaaaaaaaaay too "moderate" for my tastes. I want a Bleeding Heart, Tree Hugging LIBERAL to run. Please!

9. Biden in '08...? Not.
Joe's got a lotta 'splainin' to do about why he sold out on the bankruptcy bill, among other things.

10. My neighbor was his campaign manager many years ago...
and he say's that Joe is the most decent and real guy he has ever met. I just plain like him and find him very smart and charismatic. I believe I wouldn't have any problem voting for him.

12. I can't vote for anyone who voted to pass that bankruptcy bill
and Biden did because he is owned by MBNA and that law is going to hurt many Americans.

20. Biden's vote for that Bankruptcy travesty was the final buzzer or
straw for me. Sincerely appreciated Biden's voice against Bolton, but not enough to vote for him for President.

17. Yeah? Talk to him about the bankruptcy bill.
You might ask him about his son and his "business" while you're at it.

Delaware: America's First State...in Democratic sellouts

<snip>Why is Biden such a big fan. Those less cynical than us might argue that, well, MBNA does employ a lot of people in Delaware. True -- but could it also be because MBNA is Biden's biggest contributor -- by a good margin. According to Opensecrets.org, Biden raised some $147,700 in contributions from MBNA employees from 1999-2004, his biggest source of campaign cash.

Who is that in second? A law firm named Pachulski Stang Ziehl Young Jones & Weintraub, which gave $127,625 over the same period. And who are they, might one ask?

Pachulski Stang is the nation's largest bankruptcy law firm with one of the most highly regarded bankrupty practices in the country. The firm's client list includes some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry as well as many of the most well-known businesses in the world.<snip>

<snip>The company also has ties to Senator Biden's son, R. Hunter Biden, a lawyer in Washington. Hunter Biden joined MBNA as a management trainee after graduating from Yale Law School and rose to be an executive vice president. Now a partner in Oldaker, Biden & Belair, a lobbying and law firm, he receives a $100,000 annual retainer from MBNA to advise it on "the Internet and privacy law," Mr. Freeh said. He added that Hunter Biden was not a registered lobbyist and did not lobby on legislation for the company. <snip>

I don't think Biden has a chance of winning. He royally screwed mid-America for his own personal gain.
