1. I picked blamefest 2004

Just my opinion but I'm stickin' to it.

2. Election return nights of 2002 and 2004

Civility was fine, just depressing as hell.

Veep wars, but the post-election punch-up has to be the worst.

That was a bad time, seeing people splintering off into these different hostile groups. Depressing and eye-opening.

Not helped by the awful news and the RW gloating.

But the Pope furore ain't over.

You have no idea how much mail I got accusing me of being biased against one or another of the candidates. This was before "Moderator" made his/her appearance. I'd do it again in a heartbeat though. I just think it was the worst time in the history of DU. :hi:
