3. Neither
I live in New Mexico. Unless you believe that 17,000 people in this state left their comfy houses to go stand in line and only vote for a JUDGE, this state was robbed by ES&S voting machines.

Judges, by the way, were a Democratic sweep.

5. My home and native state is VA
and we know how that went.

However, my county split down the middle and my precinct actually went blue! Which means that people who live in condos in Lake Ridge knew enough to vote their pocket books (except for the idiot with the Bush sticker on the third floor).

7. Home state blue, Native state red
that's one of the reasons it's no longer my native state (moved from Texas to California 18 years ago and it was the best decision I HAVE EVER MADE)!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10. Oh, I wouldn't call 54% of the vote "barely blue."
It was Kerry's eighth best performance, tied with Connecticut and ahead of solid blue states like Hawaii, Maine, Delaware, and New Jersey.

15. Maybe its just because I'm in San Diego and dont see a lot of blue here.
I love it here but the payback for the visual beauty and great weather is military industrial complex/RWer/freeper/fundies, everywhere.

9. My home state is my native state
and it voted for Bush. The Dems did, however, win back both houses of the legislature for the first time in my life (a long time). We also one a Senate race, and I believe we picked up a seat in the House.

(My state is Colorado by the way.)

13. Home and native are one in the same
and even though most voted for bush Montana isn't a red state with a demo majority in the state legislature and governor.
