My local paper has a columnist with abhorrent views...
...I can't ignore him, despite the bile he spews, just as some rubberneck at an auto accident. The point, however, is that the Nashville Tennessean also prints his letters to the editor. Does anyone else find it wrong for a professional columnist to be allowed to take up LTTE space? By the way here is his latest rant:

http://tennessean.com/opinion/letters/archives/05/03/68001504.shtml?Element_ID=68001504

It is the letter titled "Judiciary Has Taken to Writing the Laws"
I have both called the paper and written letters asking that they limit the letters page to amateur writers and that if they want to print his ramblings they should pick up his column.
