Yet the MSM covered little else.

Wouldn't you say the MSM is out of touch with the people?

3. And we all know how much gossip/talk
goes on at the barbershop (both male and female) so that really is saying something.

Gas prices, for instance?

7. The GOP controlled media ALWAYS sensationalizes anything they think
can score political points or distract the public enough to get them to vote against the interests of the average worker and their family.

9. I am not going to chance offending or upsetting
a person cutting my hair by discussing anything controversial. I think it might be hard to do a good job while upset or pissed off.

13. Good idea. That's what I do at the dentist.
I never bring up religion or politics while cutting someones hair. I also would never give someone an intentional bad hair cut for their beliefs; but the thought would cross my mind.
They very well could have friends, family and co-workers who will come to me if I give them a good hair cut.

10. Do you find it rude if people don't want to talk when getting their
hair cut? With some people it's hard to make small talk for 30 minutes.

14. No, I don't find it rude.
If they want to talk that's fine. If not, that's fine too.

15. I have noticed a trend in company like your shop or a coffee shop,
or a party where people aren't that well acquainted with each other of them not discussing anything political at all or anything that is in the latest news, unless it's on a very local level like news about the school board or something like that. It's like people are afraid to talk.

19. I don't usually talk about current events....
...with the woman who cuts my hair. Usually less substantial stuff like restaurants, car tales, trips we've taken or are going to take with our mates, and such.

21. I just find it odd that if some news story is so important...
That the media sees fit to cover it non-stop, 24/7 for a week or two that no one brought it up or had anything to say about it.
