OK I think they are going to announce soon that Terri died. On MSRNC
the guy was saying that there was a FLURRY of activity and a priest went in with her parents, sister and brother along with the husbands attorney.

1. Hmm...I wonder if her death will have any impact on whether the Schindlers
....appeal to the Supreme Court again?

10 to 1 says they still would.

3. That was my thought too.
Yesterday her husband said she was near death. Of course her parents said that was a lie, and that she was still viable and communicating with them.

I believe Michael. I think we'll hear soon.

5. I can only hope. She has suffered at the hands of idiot protesters,
her parent's twisted grief, and sick politicians enough. :(

6. If so, I will visualize her FREE from human flurry.
I will also hope that we all learn from this event and gain greater understanding and become more united in our positions about "choice".

That's what I hope.

8. Maybe the rest of the hospice patients and their families
will finally get some peace and quiet. The lack of consideration and respect toward others has been appalling.

14. I hope it happens soon, that poor girl.
That videoclip they keep showing of her abdomen with a hole in it just makes me want to cry. I don't know whether she would want to live or die, but I sure as hell know she wouldn't want the world to see her like that.

16. She's 41 years old, she is not a 'girl'
Edited on Wed Mar-30-05 08:03 PM by Heaven and Earth
Sorry, don't mean to be nitpicky, but this plays into the Right's attempts to infantilize Mrs. Schiavo, so they can more easily portray her as everyone's little girl who needs to be protected from the big, bad man. Same thing goes for referring to her as "Teri" rather than "Mrs. Schiavo"

25. I really think we need to stop picking at each other over this. It's small
potatoes...and, as a mother, my daughter will always be my "girl" so I can relate to using "girl" for Terri. Sorry you don't like it, but it's who I am.

Thanks.

together. I'm worried that there will be some violence there.
