I'm very bad at writing things like "mission statements" and if somebody could improve upon this and sorta make a better mission statement I would gladly appreciate it. I've done many many of this same proposal threads but it never worked out but I hope I'll be able to get alot of Boxer supporters on board.


Welcome to the DU Barbara Boxer '08 Group

The mission of the DU Barbara Boxer '08 group is for supporters of Barbara Boxer to discuss a possible Boxer Presidential run in 2008, her organization PAC for a Change, and the many wonderful actions she has taken in fighting against corruption in the U.S. government and being a liberal voice in the Senate against war and the stolen election.

I tried this before. I hope enough people here can agree with us. Senator Boxer is real fighter who is right on all the biggest issues facing us. She also takes no guff. I admire her greatly!

The mission of the DU Barbara Boxer '08 group is to provide supporters of Barbara Boxer with a forum to explore a possible Boxer Presidential run in 2008.

We will discuss her organization, PAC for a Change, and share information on past and current actions being led by Senator Boxer in advancing election reform, speaking out against corruption in the U.S. government, and other initiatives.

give you a hint that Boxer might be 'a bit too much' for even the hardcore lefties here at DU?

Personally, I'd rather not pick anyone even more unelectable than John Kerry was. I mean, Jesus Christ, we were fighting a certifiable moron with a disastrous four years behind him, and we still managed to lose by three million votes. Obviously, after Gore, Kerry, Dukakis, and McGovern, we need to try ANOTHER left-wing, disconnected, blue-stater. preferably a Senator. Because even though Kennedy was the ONLY blue-state Senator to be elected this century, we obviously need just one more.
