If we're to "not play God," then the ONLY course of action is to remove the tube. If God has a position, well, he'll be forced to play his hand, wont he? They are praying...so they are putting their faith in their God...if they get what they want...God did it, prayer works, and they feel righteous....if it goes the other way...God still wanted it to go their way, BUT those evil-doing sinners prevented it...and they get to nurse an imagined grudge...
