As to Air America host Rachel Maddow ..

Dr. Rachel Maddow by-the-way (PhD in Political Science). I called Air America corporate offices, and "Unfiltered" has been cancelled as previously reported here, in favor of Mr. Springer's show.

I'm heartsick, because, as soon as I get to listen to a well-educated and well-informed individual, the show is usually cancelled soon thereafter.

I called up, and although the receptionist duly noted my displeasure, she didn't even take my name.

Anybody that liked Rachel and Chuck had better call.

I told you I e-mailed Air America corporate offices to express my displeasure - and I called them too.

I'm going to get flamed ... but is Karl Rove right about the "American Boobery." Are people so ignorant (even progressives) that they'd drather listen to some old man talk about titillating topics rather than listen to a PhD in Political Science? This disappoints me to no end.

7. The Decission Has Been Made, Unfortunately In Radio/TV

new CEO comes in, he has to justify his new position - usually by firing a whole lot of people, replacing them with "more recognizable" names. Out go the women, in come the men.

I've also noticed they are starting to take more phone calls from listeners. Although liberal callers are tons more informed than the loons on right-wing radio, I could easily do without more callers.
