No SS cuts would "Starve the Military" according to talking points

Man - don't you just hate it when social policy "starves the military". Cause we all know that the military makes the elites rich and who things the average Americans should not subsidize the rich wars of the elites? Like any colony of the Rich.. the American middle class has a role to play.

2. That's cute
Of course, cutting Social Security would cut consumer spending, which would cut economic growth, which would cut the very taxes that fund the military.

How about...repeal the inflationary tax cuts that will likely lead to Reaganesque interest rates that will further erode the middle class and lower economic growth thus reducing taxes which will hurt the military?

Wow, I haven't been that sarcastic in a while.

5. Yeah but
I honestly believe many of these Golden Shrub worshippers think unemployment is God's will. Besides, cutting taxes will stimulate growth! Of course, unless everybody is unemployed, but then that must be W's will.

Wow, this subject is making me obnoxious :P

6. I guess the young would all have to go into the military then
and those unqualified or too old for the military would man Wal-Mart. It does make sense, I guess.

7. Sounds like my hometown
America would be a country of strip clubs and pawn shops. Exciting.

3. Sounds like a win/win to me.
No cuts to SS and "starve" the bloated military. I like it.
