From

http://www.technewsworld.com/story/news/41465.html

"Obesity could help keep Social Security solvent because people will die younger. "One of the consequences of our prediction is that Social Security does not appear to be in nearly as bad a shape as we think," said study author S. Jay Olshansky."

I've had that thought, and I very nearly posted it here in one of our Social Security discussions, but I decided not to post it because it seemed very rude. I'm astonished the author of the study came right out and said it for publication.

3. Sounds like a plan! I'll take up smoking (again), and you just...
pass me down the Dunkin' Donuts and Pizza Hut deep dish extra large with extra cheese! I'm comin' home, mama! No need to worry about Social Security! I'll just die young and happy!

I see the light!
