They are chipping away at our individual right to control our own lives! The right to live our lives as we want is slowly getting sacrificed to "the greater good". That same silly-ass argument "It's bad for our society" argument that's used to stop gay peopel from getting married is the same argument that is used to tell me I have to carry an unwanted pregnancy and is the same argument used to tell a terminally ill patient that no matter how hopeless it is they have to submit to heroic, life and pain prolonging measures. If they have success with controlling these "controversial" private decisions, what's next? They're already trying to impose their religion on people and chip away at the 1st Amendment rights to express ourselves as we please. They are nothing more than the Taliban, dressed more nicely and with a slightly different religion, that's all.
