ABC poll says Iraq war not as 'popular' as it was...y'know what that means
http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/PollVault/story?id=582744&page=1

apparently some of the happy shiny brightness and wonderfulness of the war has been tarnished. some of the grooviness and coolness has begun to corrode. even the justification, such as it was, has grown diluted to many americans.

michael jackson isn't selling a lot of records, and bush's thriller of a war is going over like a turd in the punchbowl.

you know what that means.....time to further 'justify' war, and further 'modify' the american thought processes.

heads up.

7. Could that have anything to do with 1550 U.S dead, 11,000++
...wounded and disabled and thousands of returning veterans being denied benefits by the administration and over 85% of our troops in Iraq inadequately supplied with protective armor, and on and on and on! Maybe.....!!!!

8. ABC will have to issue a "correction" tomorrow.
By then Jennings will have gotten his script from Rove.

JENNINGS: I`d like to apologize for the erroneous poll numbers ABC issued yesterday. The majority of Americans are solidly behind their Christian Commander in Chief and his courageous fight to bring Democracy to Iraq.

Americans realize that this is the first time in the history of war that there have been no civilian casualties. Only evildoers have been killed. The streets of Fallujah are lined with flowers and pro-Bush signs. Everything is beautiful. The Pentagon just announced that this has been a very inexpensive war. Most of the funding requested has been for building new schools and theme parks.

Join us tomorrow night for an in-depth report on the so-called peace movement. My guests will be General Boykin and Dennis Miller.

9. Maybe they could dress the soldiers in some 'cooler' uniforms
Or re-design the Iraqi flag.....again.

Or maybe drop some more popular types of bombs.

I'm sure Karen Hughes will think of some popular diversions to make the occupation more popular again.
