Gannon/Guckert played for local softball team

"Gannon" was terrible pitching softballs even back in the 80's:


But in the mid-1980s, Gannon was known as James Dale Guckert, a Wilmington, Del., resident and member of the gay City of Brotherly Love Softball League. He played for Woody's Bar and Restaurant's team.


Philadelphia Gay News has quoted Bill Wood, owner of Woody's, a popular gay bar in Philly, as "Gannon" aka Guckert being a rather mediocre softball player on his team in '86 and '87.

It seems that Mr. "The left fears my words so they took me down" Gannon, aka self-loathing pathalogical liar JD Guckert is IN a team photo from this era. He was also well known at the Bike Stop.

Being a Wilmington native, I remember the guy from the Ren and Roam as well as Coyote Cafe.

Who is he trying to kid sidestepping his "lifestyle" of gay whore. No wonder he changed his name.

Perhaps I should have been clearer, dear. I knew the guy from the Rennaisance, from Roam, and Coyote Cafe, as well as Woody's, all popular gay establishments.

Allow me to be a bit coy, but I don't think homophobia and gay-baiting is what took me to those establishments.

The offensiveness or "gay-baiting" you see in this thread totally escapes me, am I missing something?

To my knowledge, he has neither admitted to nor renounced being gay. Instead, he's trying to extend his fifteen minutes by hinting that he has a diary and a book deal, and that he "knows" certain highly placed Democrats.

The only thing that took Gannon "down" was the egregiousness of his dishonesty--especially his dishonesty with himself. He's a whore, all right.
