Here's what I want to know
Whoever wins the Dem nomination, will you support them even if it's not the one you wanted?

Will you make sure that the Bushies are thrown out in 2004 or will you vote for the guy running on the Upper Freedonia Liberation Ticket just because your favorite Dem didn't get nominated?

I saw somewhere that once the Dems nominate a canidate, the DU rules say there's to be no bashing of whoever that happens to be. What's the odds of that actually happening?

2. I think 98% of DU'ers will vote for any democrat
that gets the nomination.

It seems understood that we all rally behind our dislike of Bush.

3. Hmmmm, let's see
"Whoever wins the Dem nomination, will you support them even if it's not the one you wanted?"
kind of a no-brainer, I think.

"Will you make sure that the Bushies are thrown out in 2004 or will you vote for the guy running on the Upper Freedonia Liberation Ticket just because your favorite Dem didn't get nominated?"
What's the platform of the Upper Freedonia Liberation Party?

"I saw somewhere that once the Dems nominate a canidate, the DU rules say there's to be no bashing of whoever that happens to be. What's the odds of that actually happening?"
After seeing what happened in the week leading up to the election in 2002, I'd say it's a sure thing.

4. nope
I'll leave the party for good. The Democratic party has a choice now to change course and if it destroys it's own chances in order to maintain a status quo that no longer resonates with the base or opposes the Right- what good are they?

5. Absolutely
There's an understanding among most Democrats that this is an emergency and that the country is experiencing the worst administration in its history, and the most dangerous. So far, even most of the candidates seem to understand that. When one really goes after another it makes news and causes comment instead of it being SOP as it would in most primary elections. Of course one would expect the debates to get a little hotter as it gets closer to election time but the general theme of Bush Must Go has warmed my heart. The quibbling that's going on is nothing to what would be happening if this was a typical election. So, yes, anyone but Bush. Anyone that would get rid of Rummy and Wolfie and Ashcroft, oh my!
