South Park's WAL-MART episode
I don't know if it is new, but I just saw South Park's WAL-MART episode. Awsome! The boys killed the Wal-Mart, in a story line ending like Harry Potter.

Brilliant!

2. Aw I missed it
:( I hope they play it again sometime. I love that show. I used to not like it but now I'm older I, of course, enjoy it. :)

3. Please don't hate me
I have to shop at Wally World - $50 worth.
I tried selling this gift card to people who like it (guess what, they were too poor to afford $50 at once).
But my son needs a booster seat. I'm too poor to turn down $50 and too ethical to give it to charity (why do poorer people than I need to perpetuate their cycle?)
I have tried and tried and tried - since Christmas (which is when I got it), but, damnit, $50 would buy my kid a booster seat and some sweats and maybe some paint for the house.

 I feel really bad. I do! I wish I could sell this damn card for cash and buy from where I want to!

BTW, I thanked a client today for using CostCo. in Atlanta - he started railing on Wally World. LOL!

6. Wally world won't let you exchange it for cash????
Sounds like a call to your district attorney or consumer protection department or attorney general would be in order.

4. South Park is a mixed bag for me.
The good: Most of the episodes are hilarious. It's written in a way that I can usually laugh at the social commentary even if I don't agree with it.

The bad: I noticed during my senior year of high school, that anti-semitic language has become perfectly acceptable. The same people who wouldn't ever drop the N-bomb casually call someone a Jew. Jew this, Jew that, quit being a Jew, you're being such a Jew. None of them ever did that crap before South Park came out.

5. Hmm, it's always been that way in rural Louisiana.
I was nearly strung up by drunk in-laws one night (I mean literally) until I convinced them my name wasn't necessarily Jewish. Thank Zeus I am divorced from that aweful family! :(

7. I think the point of that language is to make Eric Cartmen look more evil
He is an evil little bastard. I don't think the intention is to make jews look bad, although the jew camp episode a few years ago was hilarious.
