Kerrying on; rethugs voted for the wrong guy. Awwwwwwww too bad.
During last year’s presidential campaign, the right-wing offered any number of reasons to fear a Kerry presidency.

John Kerry, the typical tax-and-spender, would negotiate with the terrorists, undermine efforts to ban gay marriage, bring salacious scandals back into the White House, increase government spending while cutting vital missile defense, and get buddy-buddy with his surrender-monkey European allies, like close associate Jacques Chirac.

Or, in other words, Kerry might have…

– Suggested raising taxes to pay for the costs of his massive $2 trillion pet reform project
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&u=/ap/20050216/ap_on_go_pr_wh/bush

– Entered into negotiations with the terrorists in Iraq
http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1029805,00.html

– Proclaimed that “nothing will happen in the Senate” on the anti-gay marriage bill
http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn/A12570-2005Jan15?language=printer

– Nominated a possible cabinet member who once engaged in adulterous romps in a motel room reserved for exhausted 9/11 workers
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernard_Kerik

– Offered White House press privileges to a partisan activist with an alleged history in gay prostitution
http://www.dkosopedia.com/index.php/Jeff_Gannon

– Released the largest budget in U.S. history
http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-020705assess_lat,0,4635030.story?coll=la-home-headlines

-while slashing missile defense spending by $5 billion over six years
http://www.defensenews.com/story.php?F=643570&C=america

– During a “warm” and “friendly” tour through Europe, declared that Jacques Chirac could make a “good cowboy”

Rightwingnuts; dumbest rubes and stupidest MFers on the planet.

4. Whenever they brag about any human move Bush makes, they never realize
that he was pushed into it by a Democrat who towered over him in the presidential timber department.

Kerry made that 2 week trip overseas to FORCE Bush to follow in his footsteps and be a better world citizen, even if it was mostly just for show for Bush.

Any little bit of statesmanship and humanity out of this dictatortot is better than zero.

Kerry must realize that Bush doesn't act, he only reacts. So it becomes a big chess game. Lookin' forward to it! :)

23. HOW TRUE
I work with someone who voted for the Moron because he looks "good" in a cowboy hat! They don't even realize how dumb that sounds! I keep a small, but visible bumper sticker on my desk: "I think, therefore I'm a Democrat".

27. yeah, my resident *-lovin' doof...
...was very impressed by how good * looked "cutting brush on his ranch", until I informed the moran that *'s pig farm was bought in 1999, i.e. to be a faux folksy photo-op setting:eyes: during the prez race. And, I also informed him that * is askairt of horses!

The ignorant, *-lovin' dolt's eyes rolled back in his head as the possibility that the glorious * ranch might be a stage setting collided with his fantasies of * as a good-ol'boy All-"Murkan cowboy.

Geez, these *-lovers are SO dumb: naive and easily impressed by image and spin.

33. Oh, they know.
When I get together with the Repub family members, you know when there was a scandal against republicans because their heads lean towards each other as if to say, "brace yourself." They also have a frown of disapproval on their faces as if I had already made the first jab. I first started noticing this behavior with the pedophile priest scandals.

Funny thing is, I am never the one to bring up politics. They do, every time. And they ask for my opinion. Maybe it's time to pick up smoking so I can have an excuse to be alone?

republican lies & projecting of their own hidden bullshit agenda. And of course the rightwingnuts fell for it hook, line and sinker. As always.

There are principled conservatives -- believe it or not! -- and, although I think they're wrong, I enjoy goading them on about Bush's fiscal irresonsibility. Some as them can gets as pig-biting mad about Bush as a Deaniac on steroids.

Hey, that's a great first post for me on DU, saying I saw this on Atrios....

Anyway, I thought it was excellent and I decided to post the same thing over at TheDumb Forums (in Politics). I've been arguing with this wingnut for a while so I'm looking forward to seeing what he'll say about this.

He's doing the typical wingnut evasiveness actions on my other posts.... it's funny but sad.

and *sigh* The conservative on the board where I posted said, "So you get all of your anti Bush information from an extreme left administration hate blog. I should have known."

I replied: I'm not surprised you're not going to defend Bush.

Hopefully that was a snappy comeback!

but then I remembered, they do not listen or respond or comprehend logical rational arguments. I may try it anyway just to see the response.

BY the way. Rove's modis operandi -- criticize your opponent for EXCACTLY what your own candidates weaknesses are. Or in this case, warn of something that will be doing yourself.

24. EXCELLENT post
I saw a product on the 'net for "Fox Blinders".
They were worn like sunglasses and appeared as partitions on either side of the eyes (with Fox logos).

It would seem that about half of America must have purchased a pair not to see the disparity between what Buxh says... and what Buxh does.

Being a supporter of the admin requires the verbal finesse and graceful side stepping of Fred Astaire.

"We need to up the ante on this one. While Talon News is independent of FreeRepublic.com, we should press for press passes for Freepers. Using this case as discovery - we prove the predisposition of most of the White House Press Corps to voting for Dems, supporting leftist causes & candidates & asking questions of both Mr. McClellan and the President that could be scripted at the DNC."

35. Some Republicans DO see the light!
While on vacation last week, we had dinner with some fellow vacationers we had met Ñ a 30-ish man and his mother.

While chatting at the table, politics came up (we did not initiate this topic!!).

It turned out that the two of them were Republicans and we squared our shoulders for a minor confrontation. But NO!!

The mother opined "I HATE George Bush!" The reason? His attempt at dismantling Social Security. This woman was born in Germany, and could recognize a fascist when she saw one.

The son? He had spent 9 years in the Air Force, but volunteered the information that he had voted for Kerry! Said he liked him and liked what he said.

You could have blown us down with a feather!

Hopefully it'll happen more and more. It worked for me! :D Putting down the Kool-Aid works wonders. Come on, lurking freepers, give it a shot. It won't kill ya, I promise! Think of the liberating feeling of not having to go through life with a chip on your shoulder and a pinecone up your ass! :D :D :D

(Seriously, it is nicer over here. The pseudo-Republicans in power lied to you. The fundamentalist preachers you trusted lied to you, claiming to believe in Jesus but being bankrolled by self-proclaimed new messiah Sun Myung Moon. The right-wing radio hosts lied to you. You've been used. Now's the time for you to get mad.)

I get so down when I think of what he could have accomplished, he was such a qualified candidate. If he gives it another shot in 2008, I probably will back him. Even worse, in this hardcore Democratic Tennessee county, many people have left their Kerry signs up as a reminder to the rest of the state of how stupid they are. I see reminders everyday of such a tragic lost chance....
