Did anyone watch "Nightline" last night?
Not "Frontline" but "Nightline".

If you did, can you explain :wtf: it was about?

'cuz I did NOT understand it.

Everything is suddenly great in the Middle East?
I must have missed the memo that came out about that!
Please enlighten me.

2. I scanned it.
As soon as I saw Tom Friedman I knew it was more
corporate media bullshit -- more "shiny happy people
holding hands." Forty soldiers killed today? Move
along, nothing to see here.

3. Friedman-Gawd
He's either drunk the Kool-Aid or the Acid- either way, he's not dealing with reality.

4. Maybe it's part of this new "perception management" plan from DC?
Mind control, in plain English. It's ok to talk about mind control today, so much of it is on tv.

5. Friedman
Tipping point, Blah Blah Blah . . .

Friedman desperately wants to set himself up as the arbiter of morality in our foreign involvements. He always manages though, to come across as just another conservative, apologist hack who never met a Bush move that he couldn't cuddle up to.
