"What the bloggers are up to", now a daily feature on CNN
that's not what they call it, but every day this week they have featured a new talking head lady who monitors the blogosphere. it's taking on a whole persona of it's own, like, 'what the terrorists are up to', or 'what those crazy internet liberal wackos are up to'.

gotta watch out for those crazy blog heads, they're up to no good i tell ya'.......maybe we oughta just shut em down spreadin' all that truthful information and factual evidential stuff.

CNN versus the vast left wing bloggers. they are watching us, but we have been watching their asses for quite some time now. we got their number.

11. Hehe.. I haven't stopped laughing about that yet. :)
Colbert should stick with the joke for a bit longer IMO.

only it was Chip Hitler, basically Hitler wearing a Cardigan sweater, funny as hell.

2. They don't have to report anymore - just read the blogs.

7. It'll be interesting to see whether they use the blogs or the PR
corps from the RW think tanks more.

They feel the heat, let's make them feel the fire!

3. Typical cable--not being interested in thought or investigation, it
reports what other people are saying.

"This is what somebody or other says" makes the news, but CNN never bothers to check it out.

That's why the White House always wins on cable: all you really need to do is have the brass to lie with a straight face and it gets reported as the official position and never questioned.

4. I suspect we have them more than they have us now.
So we need to keep up the pressure. Shine a hard light on the "liberal media" and what they continually refuse to cover or intentionally ignore.

Let's make it so when they look in the "mirror" they don't like what they see!

6. They monitor the blogs to do their jobs for them..............
why go to all the trouble of finding news yourself when you can have bloggers do it for you? The MSM is finished, they just don't know it yet.

When was the last time ANY news organization broke a big story? I certainly can't recall. "Rathergate," "Gannongate", every big story lately has been uncovered by bloggers.

These people are useless. The MSM will become "Entertainment Tonight" on a grand scale. Hell, they already are. When it comes to digging for stories, reporting on blogs is as far as they go now. It's fricking disgraceful.

8. True, but better that than get PRs delivered from Heritage Fund
interns straight from the Heritage Fund press room; which is the current practice.

13. A bit premature, though I wish it were so.
Most people still get their news from some corpwhore source or another and will continue to do so until one of the blogs gets into print as a daily or gets on the tube.

We have to work on the corpwhores in order to have them destroy themselves.
