Tucker Carlson on PBS (gag me with a spoon)
That was worse then Hannity or O'Liely. If that is a counterweight to NOW with Moyers (I know he's retired), then we are totally fucked. What a partisan Schill. Absolutly disgusting. I wrote channel thirteen and let them know my financial support is gone. CPTV (my local PBS had another show), and they will get my small donation for now. In the past I have split it between the two.

1. Wake up people: NO MORE MONEY FOR $$$'s FOR PBS/NPR
SERIOUSLY, THEY WRE THE WORST TYPE OF WHORES, THE ONES WHO KNOW BETTER

Starve them for money. They do little to nothing and don't deserve any government money. Let them make it on their own like everybody else. Why don't we all start our own appeals for Federal subsidies. We provide more news than they do.

DE-FUND PBS NOW!!!

4. I've told them already, 'No more money!'
I'm displeased because the new Sec. of Ed. raises a fuss, and they pull an episode of 'Postcards from Buster,' so that I, a taxpayer who funded it, cannot see it. If the fundies do not want to watch a particular family, they can watch something else.

And I was going to use it to teach my kid about celebrating a diverse society.

And so - I told them that I was no longer contributing.

5. Think about it for a moment...
So Dems stop donating to PBS, and repugs begin to fill in the gap. Soon, the PBS people think to themselves, "we'd better run more stuff that appeals to the people who are actually sending us money."

Just a thought...

6. Well, that's one way to look at it and I appreciate it.
However, the people who have given the money over the years and who continue to do this are overwhelmingly in favor of a fair press. PBS/NPR have not been delivering that with our support. Why should we worry about them doing what they already do (i.e., capitulate)? I say, no more money for people that turn and run. They are useless. Let the * people have it all the way while we focus resources on a real alternative press.

In addition, as a liberal democrat, I have real problems with the government giving money and resources to TV and radio when there are so many other needs.

7. You got it
They will do that. We should work with them to air more of our viewpoints. If we lose the foot in the door we'll never be able to get anything aired on there again.

2. We don't get him
fortunately. I used to faithfully watch NOW but since Moyers is gone it just isn't the same and I've been forgetting it. There is some Wall St. show on here instead of TC. Hope they don't ever carry him, he's so just not PBS caliber even for a conservative.

8. I despise Tucker Carlson
All that shit he talked about eating his shoes if Hillary's book sold over a million copies, then he turned all red faced and bashful when she brought him a shoe to eat. He's a schoolyard bully who is really a mama's boy and easily defeated. I can't believe the repugs would let a weakness like him represent them.
