How are the Middle Eastern countries responding?
We went to war based on the lie that Saddam was an immediate threat to the US because he was building WMD so what is the response of other countries in that region? Does the UN have an official response for that matter?

Am I the only one who wonders how we're any safer? If this doesn't add fuel to Al Qaida's recruitment fire, then I don't know what does. How would it not feel like an attack on Islam to these people when the US doesn't take action against a country we know has WMD (N. Korea anyone?) but we bomb the crap out of a country after falsly accusing them of trying to start a nuclear program?

The political ramifications for the Bush admin is fun to watch, but the security and foreign relation ramifications from this scares me.
