Colin's pact with the Devil and his moral collapse.
Edited on Sat Jan-22-05 08:41 AM by KlatooBNikto
In an article, Paul Craig Roberts, former undersecretary of the Treasury in the Reagan Administration,

http://www.counterpunch.org
says. When Bush asked Powell how the war in Iraq was going, Powell replied " We are losing". Bush immediately angered and asked that Powell leave.

When Powell announced his resignation with a farewell genuflection to his massa, his humiliation was complete.A proud warrior, who had built a great deal of moral capital, squandered it all, not merely by joining this outlaw regime, but becoming an active apologist for it,going to the extent of lying on worldwide TV on the WMD issue in Iraq. When he finally decided to tell the truth it was too late.

How are the mighty fallen!

2. From attempted cover up of the Mi Lai massacre,...
Aristide's abduction:
Secretary of State Colin Powell called those allegations "absolutely baseless, absurd."
"He was not kidnapped," Powell told a news conference.

to the alleged "mobile weapons factory", I think this Bozo lost his credibilty along time ago.

3. Powell was an apologist during Vietnam. His integrity was
compromised years ago but the mainstream press loves nothing more than a dark face that supports the status quo no matter how corrupt or imperialistic.

5. Powell at least had some competence as a soldier. His son,

a nepotism appointee, was a fatuous ass.

7. Can she be any worse than Colin's idiot son? At least one can expect
to see the new FCC chair in competition with Janet Jackson.

9. Look, Powell is a survivor from the old school. No matter what we
think of him, he will still come out of this okay. He will still go down in the history books as Secretary of State during a time of crisis.

I think he's a very talented weasel. Can't ever trap him in a corner on anything. He maneuver's himself so that he can take any position he wants at anytime. He can shoot with the right hand or the left hand.

He's a slick bastard who's political skills are vastly underated.
