We're facing the possible destruction of planet Earth by these Republican and wingnut "Christian" maniacs and some of you have nothing better to do than to rail against Bush's daughters? Who cares what they do or don't do? They're not the point, nor are they of any importance.

We're fighting serious and deadly people who are running this country and couldn't care less about the health or well being of the American people. Nor do they care if we live or die, as long as they can make a profit or accumulate more power.

The Bush girls? Please, please, pay attention to what matters before you find yourself in a gas chamber.

But after Kerry's early concession, after all of the losses, when it seems that the Nazis have all of the power and when we feel so powerless, it is gratifying to see somebody, anybody, do something that clearly says: "No, you don't own the whole world yet. You don't own this little chunk here.".

It's not a rational thing. It's a totally emotional response, borne out of the feeling of powerlessness.
