There should be ribbons for cars that say "Save Our Democracy"
And the sale of them should go toward funding projects that work toward just that goal.

7. Time to take back the ribbon.
And make it work for something worthwhile, don't you think? It's like the sly Darwin fish symbol, a little wink to your fellows through the Christian fog.

9. That's why we have a BLACK ONE.
With an "RIP American Democracy" logo on it.

No one could ignore it. Black sticks out like a sore thumb.

6. Saw a post last week from someone saying he/she was going into the
magnetic sign business. Didn't read it so don't know if it was for real, but I would put one on my car. It would need to be a destinctive color or shape so it could be IDed as different from the "killing is great" ribbon.

13. HEY ALL! Look here!
I found this place online.

They say they do custom work. They already have a black ribbon design to work with; we could just get them to swap the POW/MIA logo they have on it now with our saying.

http://www.edecals.com/custom/index.html

Can someone look into it? I'm super busy right now at work.

15. But DUers ...
I think that someone is already selling blue ribbons ... to mean support for the troops, but wanting a pull-out from Iraq. Selling somewhere at Cafepress.com. And someone is selling a black ribbon already I think. Let's check it out.

16. I don't want a blue ribbon.
Anybody using the basic colors of the flag gets lumped in with everybody else. Blue is a Democratic color, yes, but I don't think a blue ribbon says anything.

We need a color that hasn't been used yet. If black ain't it, let's get something else.

We could get a brown ribbon and say "The 2004 election was bullshit!" How's that?

Why is the Ribbon Blue?

Blue is the international color of peace.

Blue is the color of inspiration.

Blue represents sincerity, truth and moderation.
