CNBC. I think he runs some business mag. Anyway he makes the comment that no one wants to invest in NY with an attorney general there on the rampage against business. But he made no mention of the fact that every company the attorney general has went after in NY has been breaking the fucking law. So I guess NY should get rid of their attorney general so big business can steal in peace.

1. Now THAT is a Bush voter
Rural OR city. Damned liberal regulators getting in the way of my flourishing business. I would bet 75% of Bush voters hate those pesky regulations more than they hate abortions or gay marriage.

2. On the other hand, the only way that I would continue investing
our money in NY is if the AG continues what he's doing.

3. Did he survey CEOs on how they are ALL outsourcing?
Edited on Tue Nov-09-04 07:22 AM by Divernan
At a recent informal discussion among corporate bankers, whose clients are largely Fortune 100 or Fortune 400 companies, they were chagrined that they knew of only three companies that were hiring, but ALL their clients were outsourcing jobs - mainly to Mexico, Brazil and China. The three companies which were hiring were (1) a railroad which discovered it had laid off too many to keep operating, and had to hire a few back; (2) Neiman Marcus was hiring salespeople, who worked on commission and some token pay; and (3) Carnival Cruise Lines, hiring people who basically worked for room and board, and very low salaries.

And those facts have NOTHING to do with whether NYs Attorney General is prosecuting businesses for fraud or whatever.

ON EDIT: No source other than my personal source with one of the Big Four Japanese banks.
