We better hope for the voter fraud
or there will be riots in the streets come inauguration day.

I was at the last inauguration, and it was a bad scene. The Supreme Court was surrounded by protesters marching eight people deep.

Since then, we have had two of the largest protests in US history. February 15, 2003 saw hundreds of thousands of protesters march in NYC to protest the imminent invasion of Iraq, while millions more joined them from the rest of the country and the world.

Then, in April 2004, up to a million people marched to protect a woman's right to choose abortion.

I bet twice that many people are angry and motivated to protest this time. It's already started in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Chicago. A kid killed himself today at Ground Zero in protest over the war, if not the election.

People are motivated, angry, and in "fight or flight" mode. It's not going to be pretty if the election hasn't been resolved legally to everyone's satisfaction. I'm ready to fight on for sure, but I have to admit I'm scared.
:scared:

1. I Am Virtually Penniless, But I Will Attend And Protest This Time

I have nothing left to lose.

It would be glorious to see several million Americans drown the capital in dissent.

It would be rapturous to hear millions of voices so strong that Bush could not complete the oath of office.

We can do this. It must be done.

2. With ya, but more scared of not fighting...
In order to push the PNAC, the BFEE will need something to catalyze American bloodlust.

I'm betting it's a one kilo nuke in a 'blue' city somewhere.

They need something to push their agenda, and they'vbe been telling us how scared we should be 'cause the terrorist will 'attack at any moment'.

We are in deep shit.

Then we nuke other countries, there will be a new terror this century - and it will be us.

9. yeah, and for PNAC to keep their agenda in place,
they have to retain control of government.

The media (earlier today) already reported their steps to begin militarizing space. That is on page ??? of the PNAC bible, and if don't think they will do this, we are fools.

If we can legally regain control, we simply must. Or PNAC will rule. And they will break us in every way in the process.

10. I agree
They can't keep the fear up forever without people shrugging it off as them crying wolf. And they have to keep the fear up because that's when Bush's approval ratings are the highest. It's also when he gets the most cooperation from Congress.

4. One other point
Just as strongly as we take it as a matter of faith that * stole it in 2000, the freeps believe that they rescued democracy from the left's attempt to rip it.

They were already talking (before the election) about AK47 parties if we hit the streets.

If we do find/prove vote fraud, and inaugurate Kerry, the freeps are going to go batshit. They simply will not be able to rationalize our taking it back.

I'm ready for that too, but ya do have to recognize that it's out there. And it may not be pretty.

8. Hey, its a Republic
That's what they always say. We're at least 49% and our voices matter. We need to make that clear.

Just for the record, I have an AK too.

11. This is my point exactly.
Even as I wrote that this has to be settled legally and to everyone's satisfaction, I was thinking it will never be settled to everyone's satisfaction, and there are extremists on both sides.

Nope, not pretty at all.

5. It will be interesting to see the response overseas as well
A young man from Egypt sent me an IM, just to say "Hi" and strike up a conversation. I figured I'd asked him what he thought about our election. He said, "Well, I LOVE John Kerry, so I'm disappointed." I just thought it was interesting. I can't say I have terribly strong feelings about other leaders in the world, other than whether I think they're doing a good job for their people and for the rest of the world.

6. Blue America March
We absolutely need to do it and we need to remember Andrew. So sad, I think we're going to be seeing alot more of this kind of thing.

7. The most courageous
...feel fear before a defining moment. It's OK. You will fight when the time is right. I'll have your back.
