Phase II - Demonize the Left
Edited on Sat Nov-06-04 11:50 AM by Mortos
Cam Edwards, right wing crack whore, has a site at which he has a contributing poster, Farrah. Farrah had just written a post describing a horrible attack by Kerry liberals on her vehicle in which all the windows were broken, tires slashed, graphitti was written all over it and electronics were stolen. She claimed to have the whole thing on tape down to the Kerry/Edwards sticker on the window of the attackers car, a close up of his face and tag number and the Wendy's wrapper in the front seat. I posted a skeptical warning on my site for people not to commit acts of violence. I asked for some proof (i.e. pictures) and condemned the act, if it actually happened.

I went back to the site a few minutes later and the post is gone. Replaced by a sing song post about the Orange County Chopper guys coming to Farrah's town.

Can anyone see if there is a mirror of the page with the vandalism post? Site is www.camedwards.com

I think we may be about to see stage 2 of the right's plan to further alienate progressives from the mainstream. False Reports of random violence by our side (unsubstantiated of course) carried into the mainstream media or worse intentional damage done by the rightwingers and blamed on us.

This combined with the bizarre story about a NC repub hq being vandalize by 100 masked and gloved people has my conspiradar pinging.

It may also justify their own violent attacks against us or a government crackdown on dangerous liberal terrorists.

1. Wow.
It's the Reichstag fire all over again. Make something bad happen and blame it on your enemies - then use it as an excuse to persecute them while taking the moral high ground.

The post just disappeared. Why do you think that happened?

3. LOL
100 masked and gloved people. Hilarious

I saw a PETA training video one time I think it was in UK. They were practicing Karate punches and other self defense techniques. The reason I remember this was my uncontrollable laughter. An elderly night watchman with a Billy Club would have decimated this group.

Give that same night watchman a cell phone today and watch what would happen even with a hundred masked and gloved people. A 9mm semi auto pistol out weighs a crowd of 200 people with clubs and torches.

Fascism is coming to a neighborhood near you.

4. I don't know...
I don't think I'd wanna take on 200 people with clubs if all I had was a 9mm. I mean, the highest capacity one I know of only holds around 31 rounds...That's what, 6 reloads? Think of all the people clubbing you while you're reloading your 9 SIX TIMES!

6. There have been studies on this.
You have to have a very motivated crowd to move against fire arms. This is a very rare crowd. Usually one shot does it. An armed mob with firearms is another story.

Thank you ROTC, third year class. The instructor was an Airborne Ranger, two tours of duty in Vietnam and a West Point graduate. I was assigned a paper on crowd control and given the research.
