I can't take four more years of this!
How am I and the rest of the nation going to survive this?

I already feel like I am living in Nazi Germany. I have been crying all day. I can't accept it. God, how did this happen?

3. Will it ever be better?
I don't think so. I have cried so much in the past 24 hours, that my body is literally aching. I feel like I have been physically beaten and I go through times I can barely breathe.

10. Right! So I am listening to AAR and the host is speaking
of the four companies who own the machines on which 8 to 10 mil votes were cast yesterday and all the companies are connected in some way to the BFEE! I am listening right now.

4. I can't take it either. I am heartbroken.
It is heart-wrenching. I don't think my health can take it. These last four years have been so hard on me physically and mentally. I am utterly exhausted, I gave it my all, every ounce of me.

6. I really don't think we should.
I mean we waited four years and voted, while * systematically started destroying our country as we know it. When you have a bad President you vote him out, but our election system has been compromised so we couldn't do that. Now we have to bring him up on charges. God knows there is a really big rap sheet to start with. We can't fold over and hope to vote him out in another four years. By then it really won't happen.

We have to start dogging our elected representatives to start doing the right thing. Mine are all Repukes save one. I am bugging them anyway and I hope I can get many others to join in. A lot of little fleas can make a big old white elephant really uncomfortable.

8. Look--I lived through 12 straight years of Repugs
Reagan then George the Elder. I made it through. It was tough and I was underemployed (with two college degrees) for a long time, but I made it through. And you can too. We all can. We have each other. We are organized and we're outraged and we can be the change we want to see in this world. I'm depressed and I'm not very happy right now but I will live through the next four years to bear witness to what this president and his cabinet of war criminals will try to do as they screw over this country and the world around us. And together, we will let the world know and help them to see them for what they truly are (and what 55 million of us recognized them as being). FIGHT. Do not give up, do you hear me? You can do this. It can be done. I've done it before and I can do it again.

9. Sannum, we are all here for each other
I just ate for the first time in 24 hours. Had a hard time sleeping. My heart is breaking. The morning of the election I tried to steel myself for a possible loss, since I've had to live through concession speech after concession speech. Later in the day I allowed myself to feel more hopeful, only to see my hopes dashed.

Allow yourself to feel your pain and then brush yourself off and get ready to fight these bastards again.

11. I've been the same way
I knew if Kerry lost I would be sad but I wasn't prepared for how devastated I'd be. I really became emotionally invested in this election and I'm having a hard time understanding why it didn't work out for the dems, the good guys. Why did the bad guys have to win this one?
