I want election reform and I want it NOW!
In this information age we live in I want the following things by the next election.

1.) I want a paper receipt denoting who I voted for, I want to be sure my vote counts instead of walking away with only a "I voted" sticker.

2.) These machines should be hooked up to a master database that can tally votes as they go. If I vote at 7am, and I see the Democrat loosing in the state, I might be more encouraged to get people to the polls. This is also a measure to make sure your vote counts.

3.) No more electoral college. Regardless of the sum of the popular vote for * this time, the electoral college causes nothing but problems. 130k votes in Ohio can offset the 3 million popular vote margin that * has, not that it wouldn't be great..but it surely is not fair. I think the president should have a popular mandate to govern. And has anyone ever thought about what would happen if the electors decided to vote their own way and not follow the vote of the state???
