There will be a lot of fall-out from this

If Bush is re-elected.

Personally for me. My biggest fear in respects to my personal self, is back during my last labor contract negotiations with my employer.

Right off the start, Bush boldly put federal negotiators in our union/employer negotiations - intimidating our union negotiators.

Then he threatened to use the military on us to bust-up our union. I feel that ONLY the fact that we brought a good amount of Democrat political force to bear --and-- the fact that he was only on his first term -- did we manage to survive that.

Our contract is up July 2008. And if he gets re-elected; not only does he not have to worry about re-election, he'll almost be out the door. And he is on record saying that he would like to bust the longshoremen's union.

And I have to tell you. As a member of the ILWU, our union more so than any other union I've seen or been in; is no push-over.

So I fear not just for my livelihood, but for the lives and freedom of my fellow union brothers and sisters. Because I can tell you, that I and plenty of others will let the ILWU get busted over our dead bodies.

In short. If Bush is re-elected, I fear at the end of his administration, things may get very ugly down on the waterfront here on the Left coast.

1. Say a fond 'bye-bye' to the labor unions.
Ain't nobody gonna stand up for them, anymore. Can't blame all that on the current regime, though -- that started when Reagan fired the air traffic controllers and replaced them all with scabs. That, whether anybody realizes it or not, was the first quiet echo of the swan song of organized labor.
