Counting the Bodies.... more media deception

If you ask most Americans, they will tell you that this has been a war of surgical attacks that miraculously spared the Iraqi people from harm ...with some small exceptions. The numbers of civilian casualties from the first Gulf War were rarely discussed, and reached numbers in the tens of thousands, - not including the continued fatalites from uranium tipped shell fallout. The deaths from this horror are not even fully calcualted.

This article in the Village Voice once again shows the media's failure to explain to the nation what the Bush adminstration refuses to tell us.
On the other hand, will the people really care? Are our 9/11 deaths the only tragedies that count?

1. Yeah, I've been told the same thing.

I've been told by freepers that this overall mission hasn't hurt or killed any civilians or kids. Then when confronted by the evidence, they say it is an inevitable price they have to pay for "freedom".

I wonder if they would feel that way if someone invaded their neighborhood with a "surgical strike".
