Are abortions on the rise under Bush?

With the unemployement levels being so high and working people wages dropping, I wonder if there has been more abortions under George's watch than what was under President Clinton.

I sent it to some obsessed guy at work here who is under the impression that if he votes for bush, abortion will become illegal.

The one he sent me disputes the original Dr's findings. I wrote an email back to him and said that at least my article gives his sources, the one he sent to me just seemed like some people who made stuff up.

Today I was talking to another coworker about the election and this guy who is obsessed jumped in and say that liberals are violent because they kill babies. I had enough and said to him "I don't want to hear about your fucking abortion issue any longer". He goes on and on and I have been hearing this shit for a few years. I mean, this guy will turn a discussion about socks in to a conversation about abortion. He is a bit scary.

4. California doesn't keep statistics, as I understand.

The legislature changed the laws so as to make abortion more private. But I strongly suspect there are more than under Clinton, which makes total sense. Mainly because, the economy is worse for most people.
